Regular eye examinations help you to see the world with healthy eyes. Stephen Abery has 35 years of experience seeing a wide variety of patients including children and contact lens wearers. He holds higher qualifications from the College of Optometrists in paediatric optometry and low vision work. He has worked at Royal Berkshire Hospital for over 25
years in the Low Vision Clinic.

We welcome both private and NHS patients into our care.

When you come to us, we allow enough time to talk with you about how you use your eyes, what work you do and any problems you are having. Our practice is well equipped with modern technology, including OCT.  When we examine your eyes, we tailor the tests we do to your particular needs. This means we can give you effective advice and solutions to your visual problems.

At the end of the examination we will give you a copy of your prescription, discuss our findings and make any recommendations we may have for you.
